The story of the State of Decay 2 begins some time after the first version, where at a point in the northwest of America, the zombies seized almost everything from military bases to small and large cities, and as a result, a real apocalypse was created. In the middle, there are a handful of people living alive, living in small groups or individually for survival. Gamer also plays the role of one of those survivors who must first try to survive and then try to go along with other survivors.
